Tail Gate Show - Les said the total receipts for the Flagg Show were $5,755.  The net for mineral sales was $2,070.  Ray said the dealer fees helped the show succeed.

Symposium - Lavone said that 33 people have paid for the Symposium.  There is a total of 43 expected, which includes speakers and workers.  Ray Grant reminded everyone to pay before March 21.  He said volunteers are needed for Friday, March 24, to help bring the minerals out and price them for the sale and to collate the abstracts.  He said that Susan Celestian has asked them to eat downstairs and outside this year because of the new carpet upstairs.

Invitation from the Mesa Southwest Museum - Ray Grant said the foundation has been invited to use the Mesa Southwest Museum next year for the Symposium because they are opening their new museum.  This is a one-time only invitation because the new museum is opening.  He said that the Mesa Southwest Museum has offered to let us use the whole museum free of charge.  Discussion followed.  Les said it would be an opportunity to increase the size of the Symposium.  Ben Benham moved that the 2001 Symposium be held at the Mesa Southwest Museum; seconded by Jim McGlasson and passed.  The date will be March 31, 2001.

Red Cloud Field Trip - Les said he wants to have the trip when Susan Celestian can attend.  He also wants to check on some other things (ownership issues) that are going on at the Red Cloud.  He will follow up with the members.  Lavone pointed out that the foundation has a new member from New Mexico, who joined just so he could go to the Red Cloud.  The question was posed about whether children were allowed at the mine, and Les said they are not allowed because of the liability.
