The Seventh Annual Minerals of Arizona Symposium
The Symposium was very successful this year. There were 55 paid guests in attendance and 8 speakers for a total of 63 people.Many thanks to all the speakers for their efforts. They are the reason the symposium is successful. We really appreciate their time, effort, and expense to present a talk.Also, thanks to all the members who helped. Ron Blackstone who got the PA system for us. Silvia Knopf who got the food for the morning and the breaks. Shirley Cote and Doug Duffy who helped get the food and set it up on Saturday morning. Charlie Connell and A.J. Lombard who helped set things up Friday afternoon. Cynthia Grant who collated the symposium proceedings. John Hallinan, Steve Decker, Les Presmyk and Darrel Dodd who priced and set out the minerals for the sale. Lavone Archer for taking care of the registrations and helping with sales. Susan Celestian who organized the museum staff. And Ann and Karl Baker for operating the desk and giving out
