Thanks to volunteers like Darrell and Larrey Dodd and Mike Williams we had a good Museum Family Day. Attendance was great, and a lot of kids came to the Museum and participated in the activities. |

We sold some minerals and with the dealer's fees we did OK. We may have picked up a couple of vendors for the Flagg Show and we distributed flyers and posters to a lot of people. |

Of course we had a much smaller sale than last year, but we knew that would be the case, as we had no one available to sell loupes or high-end material. |

Surprisingly, we moved none of the green Oatman fluorites but did sell 2 of the gray prismatic hemimorphites and a lot of thumbnails. We were unable to move the mineral flats back to the trailer. We might as well move them just once out to Mesa for the Flagg Show. |

Even I am getting tired at looking at some of those flats. In the olden days we went half price at noon on Sunday or sold our remaining flats to one of the dealers. Hopefully we will get a lot of good material at the Mineral Donation Day, 12/6/2008. |
