Here is complete information on upcoming events:
Flagg Gem and Mineral Show The Flagg Show is January 5, 6, and 7, 2007 at Mesa Community College, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is The Foundation's Big Event of the year. It is located in the parking lot on Dobson Road just north of the Superstition Freeway (Route 60). Free Parking and Free Admission. We need everyone to help by telling your friends, groups that you belong to, and anyone else who might be interested about the show. A good way to tell people about the Flagg show is to have them check out the new website: www.flaggshow.info where they will find all the information on location, directions, times, and activities. We need people to help with the show setup, with the sales, with sample give away for children, and to clean up. At the Flagg Show we give away many hundreds of specimens to kids (the future of our hobby) and teachers and our supplies are always depleted. We need good small specimens that we can give away, things that a kid would think are exciting. We also need better specimens, lapidary material, and lapidary equipment that we can sell at the show. Your donations are tax deductible. You can bring material to the Foundation's meetings or to the Flagg Show, or you can contact a Foundation officer and we will come get your donations.
