The Arizona Mineral and Mining Museum Foundation was formed to support the Arizona Mining and Mineral Museum.

and he has produced an outstanding catalog of the available Tucson Show posters.
      Currently he is working on two big projects for the Foundation. One is a CD of the type minerals found in Arizona. The other is saving Bill Hunt's photographic collection of Arizona minerals on DVD .
      Harvey is also one of the volunteers with over 100 hours a year at the Museum.  He specializes in collecting rhodochrosite and other carbonate minerals. So if you have an interesting specimen let Harvey know.

Harvey Jong Wins the 2005
A.L. Flagg Distinguished Service Award

      The 2005 A.L. Flagg Distinguished Service Award was given to Harvey Jong at the Minerals of Arizona Symposium in April. Harvey has served the Foundation as secretary for the past several years, but more importantly has been his contribution to all the Foundation's activities. He is always present for the collection committee, work days for the sales and the symposium, and helping with all parts of the Flagg Show.
      His greatest efforts have been through his computer and artistic skills. He has produced professional posters for the past four Flagg shows, he has also made color covers for the last four proceedings of the Minerals of Arizona Symposium,
