Your Foundation Dollars At Work

Desktop Volcano
The next "hot" thing for your computer? No, but it is the latest instructional item that the Foundation purchased for the Museum. The volcano model has become a special part of the Scouting Program that Shirley Coté offers the first Saturday of each month.

On the Road Again...
Liz Anderson, a Museum tour guide, travels across Arizona delivering presentations for the Musuem's Outreach Program. She brings along lots of specimens and handouts for her talks on mining and minerals. Liz would like to thank the Foundation for providing a cart for moving these materials. The above photo shows the cart in action on a recent trip to the Shiprock Branch Library.

Let There Be Light...
The Collection Committee recently replaced the light bulbs for all the cases in the Flagg Gallery. Here we see Donn Cuson, our current Collection Committee Chairperson, carefully cleaning the top of a case and installing a new bulb. The new bulbs really make a big difference!
