stored and maintained at CR Productions. She offered to develop and host the database. A phone line, however, needs to be installed in the Collection Gallery room. The new database, through regular backups, offers a way of preserving the efforts in organizing and documenting the Collection. It can also enable a number of interesting dynamic extensions to the Foundation's website. Darrel offered to hold a small working group meeting at his house. This group will put together a proposal on database requirements and potential applications.

Adjournment

With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,

held in the neatest venue of any gem and mineral show.  The dealers and exhibits are housed in the older portion of the Natural History museum.  One room is a replica of the Parthenon, the next room is full of replicas of Roman and Greek art and the third room is made up of green marble columns, gilt trim in the ceilings and multiple types of marble in the floor.  Although it has gotten better, the ventilation system is almost non-existent so it can get very stuffy in at least two of the rooms.  The weather cooperated nicely so it was fairly pleasant.

One last trip and I will be done.  The Denver Show is just around the corner and that will be the last mineral related trip for quite a while.  It is always a nice time of the year to be in Colorado because even the one year it snowed as we were unloading at the Holiday Inn, the next day it was sunny and warm.

We have a lot of work ahead of us in the Foundation.  There are the two upcoming sales that we need to work towards, Family Day at the Museum in October and the Flagg Show in January.  There is always work to do on the collection.  We also need to consider our role in the museum.  Scott Poland has been working hard to raise the visibility of the museum.  He and I have had discussions about how the Foundation fits into the overall scheme of the museum.  I am really enthusiastic about what he is hoping to accomplish.
