AMMMF Year 2002 Mineral Ball
Selenite "Rose" White Light - Large Version - 1.36 MB

While New York's Times Square ushers in the New Year with its fancy Waterford Crystal Ball, we rockhounds have our own special way of commemorating this event - a spinning ball of Selenite! Happy New Year Foundationers and rockhounds everywhere!

(The specimen is from the Harvey Jong Collection and was acquired from Jeanne's Rock & Jewelry, Bellaire, Texas. Locality: Red River Spillway, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.)
